Welpman Springs Brewing Company was founded in 2014 by Leslie and Bryan Welpman. The Brewery is located on Missouri Goldfish Hatchery, outside of Stover, Missouri. The property was originally acquired and developed to utilize the large spring located at the heart of the fish hatchery. We use water, of the highest quality, from the spring only in its natural, unprocessed, unaltered state as the foundation for all our beers. This spring water is not only the principle element of our beers, but also the reason for Missouri Goldfish Hatchery’s and the brewery’s existence. We hope each brew honors not only our own history but the tradition of brewing itself.
