Our mission is to brew outstanding beer and have a good time while we're doing it. Located in the historic Coeur d'Alene Hardware building, Wallace Brewing launched January 2009. Our 15-Barrel system produces 2,500 barrels of beer each year. The Orehouse Tasting Room is open 7-days a week at 12, and has 10 taps, free pool and board games. No food service, but snacks such as bags of Knotty pretzels are available. Beer is an important part of Wallace's history. During the 1910 fires our water was contaminated. The mayor declared that bars and taverns must remain open 24 hours a day because beer was the only safe thing to drink. We are also just 80 steps from the Center of the Universe.
