The East West team were the pioneers in the importing and distributing of a range of finely crafted beers brewed in India. They were trailblazers in bringing the unique taste of Indian beers to the American marketplace. Since the original introduction in 1982, their brands have become well known and sought after by Indian cuisine aficionados and beer enthusiasts alike. Initially, they introduced Taj Mahal Premium Lager in both California and New York. Today this brand has become the largest selling originally Indian brewed beer in the USA. Taj Mahal was followed by Flying Horse Royal Lager and then Maharaja Premium Indian Pilsner. These beers are available in every one of the 5000 Indian restaurants around the nation.
